if i try to start it on normally, i can´t get past the white htc screen but i can still acces bootloader (1.05.0000) and access recovery, but when it just starts bootloader i see this messages:

I am trying to retrieve the Wireless Network data from my Droid DNA and find it's not possible without rooting. There seems to be no way to transfer the Wireless network data directly to my new Galaxy S5. In reading I am discovering that the 4.4.2 update is not easy to root. Is that accurate? Is there a page or resource that might offer a good set of directions on how to root this device?

2day, I followed drections frm droidviews.com&successfully remvd the "tamperd" & changd the "unlockd" 2 "lockd" b4 unrooting my device. I turned it bck 2 S-on. I thn went 2 the bootloader & selected "Factory Reset". "tamperd" reappeard. Do u know y that happend? Do I hve 2 reroot the device 2 attmpt 2 rmove the "tamperd" agn? Is there a way of permanently rmving it? Let me kno if there's any info u may need.

Hey, I've got a question about resetting my Tmobile HTC One M8 back to stock. It sounds like you're in a similar situation as me. I have a stock recovery installed, not rooted with S-Off and Unlocked. I need to get back to S-On and Locked so that I can send my device in for a warranty repair. The GPS just does not work at all, so that's why I'm sending it in. If you think you can help me at all can you message me?

I have a quick question for the administrators. I was on Cyanogenmod with TWRP Recovery on my Htc one M8, i did everything stock (installed 2.22.401.4 odexx stock rom, with stock custom recovery, relocked the bootloader and turner S-ON) Now i have OTA update and when i click install now it shows red triangle and the update fails. When i go into recovery it shows something like 2.22.401.4 "something is wrong or missing something-i dont like to go into recovery to see again but i think you know this issue ) Can you please tell me what to do guys i dont want to sell my htc m8 and i want to get the OTA's in the future without any problem. (Btw its a t-mobile HTC)

I would like to root my device which is currently on Three UK and infall a custom rom. I am thinking of installing the Venom ViperOne rom but everywhere i have read and watched, the tutorials have been for rooting US devices. Will i be able to use the Viper rom on my UK HTC One and use the rooting videos for US devices?

Furthermore I would like to be able to return back to the factory settings at a later date just in case it needs repairs. I have read somewhere that i will need to flash the stock rom back on and reset the boot loader? is there anything special i need to do for my UK variant or will the videos using the US devices work for me?

Mark the didfference between these two commands: one without a dash, one with a dash. I followed exactly what was written.
* If the dash is essential, maybe you van emphasise that with a remark after both commands.
* If it is not, it would be better for people reading this in the future, that the dash be removed.
