Haha, understandable, I followed this guide: Noob Proof Everything Desire Guide UPDATED - xda-developers after reading and rereading every single post I could about rooting lol

Was too scared to root.

In the end, one day I come back from work tired and frustrated, so I said, sure why not, my warranty is finished etc

I reread everything and followed that guide, and am now S-Offed, Gparted, and rooted with CM7 lol

If you look through that guide, you will see that he has seriously dumbed it down for the noobs lol You or I shouldnt have any problems

(Looks like both of us joined this forum at roughly the same time You joined a month after I did
