    Root [CDMA] update to JB without rooting?

    Can my HTC Evo 3D be updated to jb without rooting it or having any service? I use WiFi and currently don't have access to a pc even if I wanted to root it. Is there an easy (ish) way to do any/all updating in my current situation?
