Huawei Ascend - 2.2.2 - rooted - I think its great 4 the price. looking to kill the bloatware.
used z4root on 2.1 & was easy. not working so good with gingerbreak 1.2 - i'll keep trying . update ---- got rootexplorer 2.16 - worked perfect with huawei 2.2.2 - key is changing read/only to read/write
