I too am deciding between Desire and Galaxy S.
Ordered Desire to pick up in UK in June, now Clove says many not arrive in time.
Galaxy to arrive 31 May.

Do you know about support in Israel for HTC and Samsung?
Build quality and possibility of quick upgrade to 2.2 important.
