  • Thank you kc. I had sent my message to you, due to being a Senior contributor. I will explore the rooting option. This makes sense, because of all the unneccessary stuff Boost/Sprint puts on their phones. I like their phones, but not the add ons.

    Again Thank you.
Think of rooting like having administrator access for your Windows computer, it allows you to access hidden files and make changes to Android.

Rooting is qwik and easy, just take your time when new.

Guyph's Root Guide does a great job explaining the process.

Let me know if you have more questions, I am happy to help any way possible.
Ahh, yes I like it too and the to be able to charge a battery and my phone at once If I need to.Glad you found the post to be helpful ;) . PS read your private messages.
I was using Lookout Internet Security until the trial ended... I thought about paying for the upgrade.. Then I found Avast! Which is what I used to use for my PC.. After Uninstalling Lookout and Installing Avast! It found Malware on the first scan.. Plus offers a nice ROOTED Anti-theft. So I would currently recommend Avast!. Though I always keep an eye out for more efficient and powerful Internet Security programs both for Mobile and PC.
