Help Any way to retrieve files from Soft-bricked phone?
My Captivate wont go past the Galaxy S logo screen anymore and the bottom buttons stay lit. I can get it into recovery mode but I would like to save some pics and vids that I have on the internal SD card. Anyway to save files before I Odin flash this thing? Droid explorer sees the phone but...- beertha

Wireless tethering works pretty good...

Better Screen Brightness App?
This screen is unnecessarily bright in total darkness- is there a better screen brightness app that can bring the backlight down more than the settings allow? This should help conserve battery too, because the screen is always 2-3 times the cause of battery depletion.- beertha
