    Help Dim screen issue please help!

    I bought a 2 week old droid x for my friend. Powered it up and it worked great for a week, he went to show someone his phone and the screen went dim right then. You can barely see the screen and I tried a hard reset and it didn't help. The guy at repair universe does not believe it is an LCD...

    Tried manual update #3 and #4 as per a member. I get an installation error when I try to update the zip, any ideas?

    Help Manual update for 2.2?

    I am with Pageplus and have limited data to use, will there be a way to download the update to a computer then install from there? I assume the file is large enough to blow out 100 MB of data because that is all I get for the month. Thanks.
