Hi all,
I'm in the market for a 7-8'' tablet with:
32GB internal storage (yes, I need this much despite the microSD)
microSD slot
and some kind of integrated keyboard, i.e. ideally one that integrates well with the tablet, e.g that acts as cover.
The galaxy tab s 8.4 had a good keyboard cover...
I have an unrooted dual sim Motorola Moto G 2nd generation, running Android 5.0.2.
Battery life has become ridiculous: even with minimum usage I have to charge 2-3 times a day. My other phones have always been rooted and I used apps like wakelock detector and better battery stats to find which...
When speaking to a person who has the Moto G 2014 (2nd generation), I always hear beep tones which drive me nuts and make the conversation very hard to follow. The sound seems the tone you hear when pressing a number on the dialpad, but:
this happens regardless of whether I am calling her or...
I am considering the S5 or its dual SIM version.
How easy is it to remove sim cards? Is there enough room to actually push the SIM from one end outwards?
I have a Note 3 and sometimes removing a SIM card is a huge pain; I can only guess that some SIMs must be a fraction of a millimeter wider...
I am considering the LG G3 or its dual sim version (D858HK).

I am running Android 4.4.2 on my Note 3.
I have a very annoying situation whereby default applications are only saved for "Home" (i.e. the launcher) and Message (i.e. SMSs). I verified this because Android settings --> general --> default applications shows only these two categories. For...
Hi all,
I have read on a number of websites that Samsung released a dual sim version of the Galaxy Note 3 in China.

I have found a Hong Kong seller on ebay which apparently sells it:

Hi all,
does any one know if a 64GB version does or will ever exist, at least in certain countries?
For the SIII, the 64GB was released many months after the 16GB one, and was almost impossible to find.
Thanks.
PS, Yes, I know the Note III can read 64GB microsd cards...
Hi all,
I am considering getting the 4G LTE version (GT-N7105) of the Galaxy Note II, on the EE network in the UK - but hopefully my questions apply regardless of the network.
I am wondering how easy it is to switch between 4G and 3G. Is there a widget or a toggle from the status bar?
I ask...
FYI the version with 64GB of internal memory is available at these two online stores, one in Italy (EUR 720):

The Italian store does not ship abroad (but anyway who'd...
Hi all,
Does anyone know retailers which stock the 32GB version and could ship to the UK?
More specifically, does anyone know if the rooting method for the 16GB version also work for the 32GB one?
All I know is that some users on xda reported buying the 32GB version of the Galaxy note from...
The Sandisk microsdxc 64Gb card was confirmed as working with the Galaxy S2:

Unfortunately, I tested it with MIUI and it didn't work. Specifically, I tested it with MIUI...
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (UK version, bought unlocked) running MIUI 1.11.11. I tried to download the official banking app made by my bank (Natwest):
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rbs.mobile.android.natwest&rdid=com .rbs.mobile.android.natwest&rdot=1
but if I access the market...
I am riunning MIUI 1.11.11 and noticed that holding the menu button brings up the keyboard.
I understand the standard behaviour is to bring up the search function, but has any one experienced this on stock roms, too? At least in stock roms, is it possible to customise what happens holding the...
