Hey guys I have my evo v on stock rooted rom but I keep getting an ota update. I tried download it once but then nothing happened. I later figured out why. Now I just want to remove the ota manually that way I won't get the ota notification anymore. We're or how can I do this?

so after a while of not having time to root and unlock my hboot i finally got it done in a matter of minutes. so now id like to s-off my evo. can some one point me in the right direction or post a link that i can follow please. thanks in advance :)

I was reading in the EVO 4G forum that if you charge your phone via usb/computer you get beeter battery life. Something about trickle charging. Could be useful, even though the harp has decent battery life.

So I downloaded the DSP manager from xda developer, flashed the zip through recovery and worked for less than a minute until, it started force closing. I'm pretty sure it's a system app because it can't be un installed. Anyways, my question is: Why is it force closing? Also what can I do to fix it?
