I'm currently running rooted 2.2.1 and system version 2.3.340. I can't do an ota update because I foolishly deleted some of the stock apps when I first rooted it. What would be the easiest way for me to upgrade to gingerbread and then root that as well? I'm sure I'll have to flash a stock rom or...
I just downloaded the official 3.1 update and it was worth the wait. Someone from a different state was kind enough to share it on xda so the rest of the states didn't have to wait. This is not the leaked Chinese version, this is the ota version. All in all, a big big upgrade all around. :)

I've ripped a dvd and moved in to my tablet. The problem is I can't move it over to the sd card. It keeps saying "cannot move" when I try to move from the internal memory to sd card when using Astro file manager. Any ideas?
I keep seeing people talk about backing up their phones. Can anyone tell me exactly what this is and what it does? I have the clockwork app that everyone talks about and I'm rooted on 2.2.340. So can clockwork create a backup image of your phone or something? If so, I'd like to do that. Thanks all.
I'm a complete noob with this. I just got my droid x and rooted it. Now it downloaded an OTA update and I keep hitting install later and it keeps popping up every two hours. How can I block this/get rid of the update it has already downloaded? I think the update was to go from 2.2 to 2.2.3. Ugh...
