Is there a quicker way to put the phone on vibrate? When I turn the volume down it goes straight to silent. I have to go in settings to turn it on. I just want the phone to vibrate without sound

I'm getting the nexus 7 this week (32GB). I have a RAZR m and RAZR HD. Which one would you keep? I like the size of the m but the screen of the HD. I would make a better profit off of the HD but I probably won't be able to pay what I paid for another mint RAZR HD.
