Still have a stock kernel. But,i want stupid speed...When I set the slide all the way over, I get "1000". But, looking at the actual tab, it says "9999"! Anyone set it past 1000?

Kinda a newb here (but, catching up fast!). Been racking my brains out trying to get custom rom onto my vibrant w/ stock froyo (build number UVKA6). Found out if i download a kernel with clockworkmod using odin (or, winrar), then cwm would be my gateway (trojan horse?) into the custom world...
