Hey Elrynon, maybe you could please help me? Bought the GL recently and been having connectivity issues like you had. Tried your wifi calling suggestion and so far it has seemed to work. Not sure about whether it works on a low battery yet, but I was losing service even when charging.
My question,... your suggestion did not work for you? Did you have wifi calling enabled, even though you won't use it, together with the cellular network preferred?
I live in NYC where we have a strong 4G LTE signal, so I was baffled how I could possibly lose a connection entirely. Kept thinking it was on Metro PCS service, but now realize it's the phone.
Like I said, your suggestion seems to be working for me the last few days. Will need more time to be sure. And sorry this didn't work for you, but do you remember if you left the "wifi calling" on,... along with the "cellular network preferred" enabled?
