I had an unlocked GTi9000, so when I wanted to root my SGS2 E4GT i figured it was as straight forward as my older phone. I rooted my phone and now my wifi no longer works (at all). On my old phone I would simply flash the old firmware and all would be fine. Not sure it is that easy anymore...

I have a GT-I9000 running 2.2.1. My Froyo update came via Kies but used Odin to upgrade to 2.2.1. I am interested in flashing back to Eclair to see what update Kies will present me with. What would be the best method to do this? Does it matter which Eclair firmware you choose from Samfirmware...

I had been checking Kies for the 2.2.1 firmware update. It doesn't appear that Samsung is going to release 2.2.1 through Kies anymore (GT-I9000 france)...
