I remember reading somewhere that if my droidx is rooted I an tether my phone to my laptop for free and with unlimited data transfer. Is there any truth behind this and if so what do I need to do it.

im not sure what went wrong but i am pretty positive that i am still not rooted,... i tested my theory by trying to uninstall blockbuster and was not able to. im running a droidx through vzw this is the guide i followed - Connect your phone to your PC/MAC and transfer the application
