It depends on teh rom you are on...

You gotta take off all the screws and pull your phone apart and see if your camera is connected to the motherboard or not

I commented in the thread saying how the camera is a problem with the rom, you have to download CameraICS from the Playstore to take pictures. The Video taking of the camera in the app should be working. If not then try reflashing the rom
