  • You have to change the name of your iphone so it does not include an apostrophe. In my case my iphone automatically named itself "Paul's iphone", once I changed this to "Pauls iphone" it worked fine.
Go into "settings" on the iphone, then "general" and"about". At the top you should "name" press on that and rename the phone without the apostrophe.
You then just need to turn on the "personal hotspot" on the phone (again through "settings") and use the tablet to look for the wifi connection with the name of your phone, it should now connect to it.
This worked or me but I understand some phone networks limit how the Personal Hotspot function works, depending on what package you're paying for. If it doesn't work you may want to talk to your provider (Vodaphone, O2 etc) and ask them. They may have to enable the hotspot function or you might have to upgrade your package to get it working.

Could you please assist me, again I'm not take savy or quite understand the process you went thru. Could you please let me know what you did step by step.

    Thanks - GRIP62
