I have to ask anyhow. Im tired of lag, and battery life etc. I had the silent bug issue and got a refurb from verizon. Phone seems "ok" but i want it to be awesome. When i got the refurb, it came ready to do 2.1 ota update and i did. I am new to all this. So my question is, can i root with 2.1...

It took 2 days to be shipped but i got it today, a refurb after calling VZW 611 Tech. Line. I had the silent bug issue. Right away the phone was ready for the 2.1 OTA update. I updated, and so far so good, no silent bug issues, and the phone seems to be operating with no issues... so far.

I went to verizon to deal with my silent issue. The option was to get a new or refurb phone, that doesnt have the OTA 2.1 update. Well, what is the point, if once I get the update, I have the same issues again?
