ok - moved on somewhat now - when home - returned phone to O2. O2 provided an excellent service indeed - kept me updated throughout the 1.5 weeks - phone now very smooth. seen jelly bean on G3, waiting for upgrade

update - once back in UK (June) my phone was sent back to O2 - excellent service - back within 1.5 weeks - "software" problem apparently + all updates installed. Now it works very well and very smoothly indeed. Now waiting on Jelly Bean said to be available soon and to include GS II (i'ts last software update) as Samsung pushing GS III now

I have the galaxy S II, but it overheats and switched off and back on again. It has done this since I got it some 13 weeks ago - I have not been in UK since then so unable to return to store. I noticed this more and more since it is my only source of entertainment at night (books. movies) This happens after watching a movie and wifi is on.
Ive surfed around and a few sugestions came up
1. motherboard
2. modem needs updating
3. SD card faulty
I am not a wizard with these items - I think my phone is fully updated - at least most nights that it is on - it is constantly updating.
ICS was downloaded some 2/12 ago. Upgrading modem - not got a clue.

I am not in UK at present, but plan to return to O2 store for a hopeful fix - does anyone have any ideas before I return home please?
