According to this article Samsung Vibrant S may get froyo update on Sept. 23. This was reported from Finland. Samsung Galaxy S may get Android 2.2 Froyo on September 23rd Unwired View If this is true hopefully the Vibrant update won't be much later.

I'm getting great download/upload rates wi-fi with my Vibrant and my router is only a g! My average dowload rate according to speedtest are about 21+ Mbits/s and upload rates are averaging around 3.2 Mbits/s. What kinds of rates are you guys seeng?
