bear in mind there are two commonly spoken of recovery programs - SPRecovery and Clockwork. You can only use one at a time, and they have different roms available on each. Best bet, do A LOT of reading before you dive in too deep

unfortunately it wasn't a whole 9 yards guide, but it AT LEAST had the files I needed to get it rooted. I still have not dived into loading a rom on it because I havn't found a guide yet for loading Cyanogen with the original (yet, I'm sure there are plenty).
