    REMOVING THE SIM on galaxy y and using it as a Multimedia player (like an I-pod)

    i removed the sim out of my galaxy Y and it works perfectly with MP3 games apps etc but what i wanted to know is should i keep it on like a normal android phone or should i turn it off and the put in On when i needed it, does doing constant ON and OFF to galaxy Y bad? or does it damage it??
