The swype beta installation instructions note that you must uninstall all previous versions of swype before installing the beta. Since the Droid X comes with a pre-installed version of swype, does this mean that we (Droid X users) cannot install the swype beta, or is there some other workaround?

Can't seem to get my Captivate to mount on my 10.6 machine :confused: Doesn't make for a great first impression when trying to transfer over some music from iTunes via DoubleTwist. Anyone else able to get their Captivate to mount on their mac? I've had a little more success on my Win7 x64 rig...
