Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question.... So I own a xoom wifi and I am trying to tether it to my HTC incredible 2. Do I need to root both of my devices in order for this to work, or do I only need to do so with one of the devices? Please help me. Thank you so much

So I've been reading about how to tether my tab and it seems like the only way to do it is to root my tab? I did come across a thread about doing so without rooting by messing around with my vnp but that's only for att phones? I have an HTC incredible 2 so if anyone know there's a way to do it...

Please help me.... I am trying to pair my incredible 2 to my pioneer avic-u310bt but keeps getting rejected by it. My old incredible works fine so I am thinking it's my new phone's problem? I just recieved it today and not sure if I sould take this to pioneer or it's something i am doing...
