I am a retired IT hardware and software freek. I have been programming computers of one type or another since 1976. The first language I ever learned was Assembly Language for 8080/Z-80 CPU's. I also programmed in C/C++ and visual basic. I used to have a Processor Technology Sol Computer that I built myself, and a Helios 8 inch disk drive which had a PerSci dual drive. It was the fastest floppy disk in the world back then. One 8 inch disk stored 64k of data. You heard that right 64k! I recently acquired my first smart phone an lg power l22c. Phones are lots of fun and very useful so I decided to learn to create apps for the Android platform. I am all for open source. One of the few things I like about Google is that they went with an unhidden OS. We all owe Richard Stallman something but I am not sure what that would be. But I'll be thinking about it.
