I have an all winner a10 type of tablet, I think some call an ly-f1, a cheap chinese tablet with android 4.0.3. It's been working ok except for about an hour or so ago when I tried to use the usb to micro usb adapter to see if it could access a small external hdd that I have that does work...

Not sure if This is the right section or not. I plan on getting a wifi router in a few weeks or so so I can get online with my tablet. I assume I"ll need a wifi router since I have a wired dsl internet connection. Are there certain brands that are the best to look for that Amazon has?

Not sure which version of android my tablet has or if there is a way I can tell or what to look for. Doubt it matters any but when I first turned it on it was all in English. And not sure if there is much difference between the US and Chinese versions of android.

Not sure if it's important that I know the exact type of tablet I have. One thing is since there are sections devoted to a specific type of tablet and phone I was thinking if I should know exact type I have. I got mine from Amazon and they have AVS as the type but I don't see it listed on...
