  • Yes I've read that and as long as we get Froyo soon I don't mind not being able to run Gingerbread. Besides it's a bit too early to say what the requirements for Gingerbread will be. Rumors rumors rumors...
There was some news about Android "Gingerbread" today. Have u read that??
In case not, it says that "Gingerbread" will have a revamped UI and google may lay down requirements for handset manufacturers to have 1Ghz processor, min 512 MB RAM, 3.5" screens....Hefty.
Let us wait for Froyo then......
That was great dude. Thanks for the response.
In fact i dug out some info on the moto website where i saw the accessories page.It had some headphones that are compatible for milestone and motorola claims that it can be used with ipod/iphone also.so we can assume 32 ohms for now. This is so because apple has mentioned the impedance of their headphones for ipod/iphone.

"Headphones acting as antenna" i agree with this to some extent, but iphone does not have FM radio feature. The reason for knowing the impedance helps because if i have a headphone with a greater value of impedance say 100 ohms, it would drain off the battery.I think so.
Anyway, thanks again dont mind my references for iphone if u hate apple products.

    With greetings from India,
    Kumar.
Sorry, I have no info on the impedance of the Motorola headset for the Milestone. But I can confirm that the phone works well with all the headphones I've tried so far ... I've even tried Hi-Fi Sennheiser HD500 headphones and plugging my phone into the car stereo via a normal stereo cable and it works well.

Maybe the impedance has something to do with the headphones acting as an antenna for the radio but I'm not sure.
