    T-Mobile G1 UK: is it Rootable? what are the 3G/UMTS Bands?

    I'm looking for a G1 with 850/1900 3G/UMTS bands, and it looks like the UK version of the G1 has them. Can anyone confirm? If so, do all the G1 UK have those bands? Also, is it rooteable, or does it has a "perfect SPL", or any other stopper, like the Rogers Dream?
