I spoke with Verizon again about the Preferred Roam List for the Droid Bionic. The said there is no need to pull the battery and SIM card out to update. For 4G LTE phone, the roaming list called PLMN will automatically be pushed to your phone when there's an update. That makes more sense to me than having to pull your battery and SIM out and reboot.
