    Help how to use 5.1 channel

    how can i use the 5.1 channel on the apollo because when i plug the earphone and press the 5.1 button it says turn off the sound effects..how can i turn off the sound effects?is it the music clarity etc..i tried switching to normal but still no success.pls help me:(:(
