so I've been reading some forums and everyone is talking about android 2.2...so i just wanted to know is there 2.2 for galaxy and if there is how do I update my phone? and right now I have 1.5 so do I need to upgrade it even if there's not 2.2? just to something more recent than 1.5

I've had one gmail address linked to my galaxy. And I've tried to change it,but now it won't accept the email address I try to link it to.. I've tried to get back to the old one, but it still won't work... Now I can't access the android market..help please
