    Help No Text Message Alert when Thread Open?

    After upgrading to Froyo 2.2 on my EVO, I noticed that if I am in an sms thread, if a text is received, the alert does not sound. Once I exit, the alert sounds. This new element has me missing received text messages. Is there anyway to set it to audibly alert me with each message received?
