you need root explorer 2.16 to remove all the bloatware in/cust/metro/app

The Thanks button is on the lower right of posts in the forum area - the !Report button is to the left. From time to time, a post may be missing the thanks button but a page refresh clears that right up.

if you still have z4root install just open it and click unroot, and restart your phone, also uninstall it and super user also from manage apps in settings.

hey, yeah it should be safe to just upgrade it, but to be safe just unroot it, cause z4root will not work on the new 2.2, you would have to use gingerbrak.
