So I just downloaded KaosFroyo v36 and I am interested in changing "Sprint" to "Verizon Wireless." I have created a .xml file called "eri.xml" which says "Verizon Wireless" and placed it in sdcard/data but the phone still says Sprint. What am I doing wrong?

I just recently flashed to KaosFroyo and I absolutley love it! But there are two problems that I have with it and I was hoping someone could help me out. 1. The softkey lights stay on but if I rotate the phone vertical they will turn off...kinda strange. I remember reading about it somewhere...

My friend just got an iPhone and he is using an app called TextFree which enables him to send and recieve unlimited texts with the same app (you are given a different number similar to google voice). And I was wondering if there was something similar for Android.

What kind of set ups do you guys have in your vehicles? I am looking for a new head unit that will play music via either blue tooth or USB. And I think I read this in an earlier post but it would be great if I could do hands free calling at the same time. Any ideas or suggestions for me?
