I downloaded the Aseventy rom, zipped it and used rom manager.. I checked the third option and it said it will reboot in clockwork recovery mode or something and the micromax logo was all it showed fromm then.. I cannot even open the phone normally!

I have been using this phone for about a month now and it is awesome. I now want to root it but want to create a backup of my present setting before I root so that I can always revert back if I face problems in the future. Please post the procedure or the link of the procedure. Thanks a lot..
