so im pretty new with rooting and android all together, so bare with me please, but i had mine rooted and did the whole process of unrooting installing the ota radio etc. and got the froyo rom. everythings working great except two things. google talk keeps coming with an "authentification error"...

Im trying to change the default action to use my ringtones as my alarm clock ringtone cause i accidentally checked the box to use only the preinstalled ringtones i have tried managing applications -> clearing defaults for both android system, clock, handcent, etc. but there were no defaults...

I was wondering if there's a way to change default input options for portrait and landscape modes independently? I like using swipe for portrait and full keyboard for landscape and its kinda annoying to keep changing it every time
