i too utilize t-mobile, but i 'bring my own device' i have good luck at wal-mart by getting manufacturer unlocked devices that are a couple model years old at a good discount i havent paid more than $120 and can live with what is available a good time to ask if they have 'last years model'...

yes, but i dont need 2 minutes of wasted battery. also, developer options should use little if any excess battery but i would still check running services to see what is running it may be sometging that can be turned off

wouldnt that be because the apps that can use mobile data in the backgroud WILL use mobile data in the background when they are able to do so? so if you turn mobile data useage off, then these apps cannot use mobile data, so they use less RAM

i have 0 internet where i am unless i am at a public wifi area, so sorry for the late response personally, i turn off any tracing and the like to conserve power and space although my newer device has decent room, my older ones did not, and old habits die hard how much memory were the tracing...

i dont use google, but there used to be a setting that made it so that approval had to be given before apps could be downloaded or purchases made not sure if it is there anymore you could disable the download manager app, but that would disable all downloads to the device until it is enabled again
