i love my note 2 but when i have 3g and say two bars of signal its slow and 9 out of 10 times wont open the internet. if its on h or h+ its superfast. im in the UK on O2 just wondering if i can chang anything to improve it. dont want the iphone users in the family showing me up do I

Hi im in UK my phone is on O2 network but i cant load anything with 3g ive got the APN settings and data ect turned on. Im I missing something can anyone help ive got 3g showing in the status bar but nothing will load open with it :( thanks

ive somehow turned on a small half circle that when you drag it reveals some apps but i cant seem to work out how to turn it off. Its annoying as its on all the time with games, apps home screen ect any one know how to turn it off please
