Raymond Hollingsworth

New to Android, but 'nix is old school: ATT System V, Rel. 4, Solaris/SunOS, FreeBSD, SUSE Linux, and countless other 'nix variants. 30 years as a communications technician, System/Network Administrator, finishing off my career as a top-tier technical support Systems Analyst.

I'm somewhat obsessed at the moment because I didn't realize Android smartphones were as sophisticated and powerful as they are...this is fun.

I've had my phone for less than a month (my first smartphone) after a straight trade, no cost, by MetroPCS for my old dumbphone to be able to place calls on their new (really T-Mobile's) 4GLTE network. I'm rooted, running TWRP for recovery, and wondering if anyone will ever develop a decent replacement ROM for this phone by the time I get tired of TouchWiz.
