Help photo as wallpaper on homescreen only?

Hi :). Another question from a new GalaxyS user. Does anyone know why my wallpaper photo extends over multiple homescreen pages? Can I set a photo for my homescreen page only and keep its settings without cropping?

    Help screen fade out

Hi :). I'm a new Samsung GlaxyS GT-19000T user and very annoyed at my screen fading out when I'm in the middle of reading or scrolling through a screen. I'm OK with security lock and time out. Is the screen fade out a separate issue? Can anyone help  ??
