Has anyone else ran into any issues with the stock Android launcher running slower than sense? Mine keeps getting stuck when I try to add an app to one of my screens.

While using my evo I noticed that every time I selected the gmail app it would open another program so shut the phone off and it wouldn't turn back on for approximately 3 minutes. Anyone have this issue? I think the phone might have overheated from normal use which doesn't make sense.
