resolved issue with 2.2 forced close framework.
went to manage applications, running applications, calendar and calendar storage ... cleared data in both and worked same as your suggestion for 2.3

i was running gingerbread on my droid x. had framework problem and used your solution successfully. i just rooted my phone. to do that i had to go back to 2.2. now the framework message started again. just as annoying as before.
do you have any idea to handle this problem on 2.2?
