    Help no notifications from gmail chat

    Hey everyone. I've noticed I don't often get notifications on my phone (Galaxy S2), when my friends reply to me. I've been googleing a bit, looks like I won't get any notifications if I start the conversation on my Pc. Is this about right, and is there anything I can do about it? Thanks.
