What step were you at when you received this error?

Now go back and right click on the LG_Esteem_Root.zip file that you downloaded earlier and click on extract here which is one of the options when you right click on the file. The folder should now be on your desktop. It is titled LG Esteem. Open up the folder and double click on the run.bat file in the folder. This will now go through the process of rooting your phone. It should take about 5 minutes to do. Your phone will automatically restart and once your phone has restarted go to your applications menu where all of your apps are located and scroll to the right and make sure that you have a new application called SuperUser. Now Unzip the LG_Esteem_Root.zip file that you downloaded earlier on your Computer. If you do not have a program to unzip the file, go to here WinRAR download and support: Pre-Download and click DOWNLOAD WinRar towards the bottom of the page. It is a blue button. When the next page comes up you will see the information bar towards the top of the screen drop down and it will be flashing. Click on it and select download file. When it pops up and asks you if you want to RUN or SAVE click run and install the app. When it asks you what file types you want to associate winrar with make sure that .zip and .rar are checked. If there are more items checked just leave them checked.

Now go back to the website and click on LG USB Drivers.

Save the driver to your desktop and install the drivers. Once that is complete you can now connect your phone to the USB cable. Once connected drag down the top menu bar on your phone and click on USB Connected.

Now click on Internet Connection and select Done.

You should have the little Android Bug guy on your status bar now.

Sinsuni this is how you would go about rooting your Esteem.
First go to the following link. LG Esteem(MS910) - OneClickRoot
Do not plug your phone into the usb cable that is connected to your computer yet.
Next download the One Click Root for Windows if you are using windows.

Save the file to your desktop. It will be saved as LG_Esteem_Root.zip

Next make sure your phone has debugging mode selected. To do this click on the menu button on your phone.
