hmm, i dled that wellcom x6 2.2.2, i flashed it back, but the newupdate is gingerbreade 2.3, ... hmmm, what should i do about this?

You can flash the rom on the phone while its on from your PC using SUT L3 (software updating tools) there is a link in post #91, inside the download contains the software and also a Wellcom X6 2.2.2 rom.

Open the SUT rar file and extract, then open the x64 or x86 depending on your system and run the setup.exe. The other vcredist_x?? installer will install some ++C runtime env... i didnt install them as i already had it. Theres a detailed PDF in post #96 its in Thai just follow the pictures.

This is the method i did for 2.2.2, have you tried doing the cleanboot restore to factory settings option then tried flashing from SD? GO TO SETTINGS>Privacy>Factory data reset

Hi sorrynewb, ok so everything you did was correct except... after you see the image of the Android with the triangle, press the HOME KEY on the phone. Its one of the 4 keys on the front of the phone at the bottom. looks like a house.

after you press the home key the recovery mode will show, use the volume rocker on the side of the phone and scroll down to the bottom option update from SD, then press the BACK button. The back button is again one of the 4 android keys on the front.
