Sorry about the late message. Ummm, I ended up using my old Canon's lanyard because it had a piece of plastic that could tighten around the wrist. Otherwise, any strong and secure lanyard works, though I think camera ones are probably made a bit tougher since they are meant to hold a heavy camera.
