They didn't care one bit. Matter of fact, my wife's phone still had about 6 weeks left for her upgrade to be official. We told them exactly what we wanted to do and they were perfectly fine with that. When the phone comes in, we will call them to get it activated...so they can switch this phone to me number.

hey, how did verizon explain to you on using your wifes upgrade for your dx? I'm doing the same thing with my girlfriends plan. were on a family plan and I used her new every two upgrade to order the phone. I have a storm now and once I get the X we were gonna go to the store and try to activate it on my line then I was going to give her my storm. how did the verizon people tell you to do yours? thanks -
