To be honest man, I don't even sweat the filesystem set up. I have read that ext4 wthout is the way to go, but really, it just prevents some bottlenecking unless you are dual cored then the speed is apparent. That is what I have read anyway, like I said I don't sweat it. Sorry I couldn't give you a better answer though
