I've not seen that but it doesn't really help. The Clock on the list of apps is not the original digital clock but similar to the one you can see on my screenshot above. I'm pleased you found that video, though!
No widgets on my Honor phone, sorry. I've added a clock to the home screen, it's just not the original digital one. Not to worry, worse things happen at sea!
Honor X6b, Android 14. Somehow I have deleted the home screen text-based clock and date. There are no widgets in this phone. The home screen doesn't respond to double-taps, just squeezing two fingers which bring up the screen as shown here. I was able to add that little clock, but it's not the...
I see. But I've found that it's too easy to accidentally double press the power button when the screen is off and I'm on a call - which will disconnect that call. Is there no way to use a screen tap to restore it? When I was on a call today, the caller suggested I do that when I mentioned my...
Android 11. My phone is set to turn off the screen after 5 minutes. It is restored by pressing the power button. How can I set it so that tapping the screen restores it? I ask because I don't want to lose a phone call in mid-conversation by pressing the power key.

Anyway, this is hardly important in the grand scheme...

It's not Bv Launcher that's causing this popup, as that app has been working fine since I bought the phone last summer. I suspect a different culprit: I joined a consumer survey programme recently which installs an app to anonymously monitor metadata on my phone. That seems the most likely...
